Vision

The Classic Christian Rock Site was started in August 2010 by a gentleman named Matthew Alexander. The site began as a blog focused on the christian rock scene of the 1990’s. It was started as an attempt to bring the great christian rock (rock, hardcore, punk, metal, alternative, ska) music of the past to a new generation of christian rock fan. Slowly, but surely the site gained a small, yet loyal readership. In September 2011, the blog began to add news and album features (via our “Now Playing” feature) on current artist’s. This brought even more viewers to the, by now, full-fledged website. In December 2011, the website, changed it’s focus ever so slightly, toward providing news and album reviews of current releases, as well as adding feature’s on seminal releases from the 1980’s. This change in focus can be seen in the website’s header text. Originally reading,”The Best In Classic Christian Metal, Hardcore, Punk, Alternative, and Rock”, it now reads “The Best In Christian Metal, Hardcore, Punk, and Rock Of Yesterday and Today”. So sit back, relax, and enjoy all of the latest news, videos, album reviews, artist features, and album features, with a bit of nostalgia thrown in. As always, thank you for reading.

  1. Hey there, I noticed and really like your christian music website. I was eager to email you a link to my band’s new record “HMMM” to see if you’d be interested in reviewing it, or simply just listening to it for free @ http://hymm.bandcamp.com
If you have any questions or inquiries about the band or the album, please write us, we’re eager to share our music and time. Thanks, Levon
